The Limestone Development Foundation & Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization. We work together with a common goal to enhance life in Limestone. Our board holds monthly meetings. The Limestone Development Foundation applies for grants and acts as a pass-through for monies to benefit our community.
Mission Statement
The Limestone Development Foundation, Inc., exists to foster, encourage, and assist the settlement or resettlement of business enterprises within the greater Limestone area. This is achieved through the identification, pursuit, and acquisition of sources of funding for the general economic development of the area. This will lead to the improvement of town properties and the promotion of the area in general.

Register for free training through the Child Care Business Lab, a program offered by Brunswick-based CEI. With over 50 graduates who are running their own businesses, the Child Care Business Lab integrates small business start-up education with child care management & coaching through the licensing & fire marshal process. Everyone who joins will learn how to create a strong foundation for their business, write policies, create a business plan, apply for loans and much more. The Child Care Business Lab is open to all Mainers interested in opening either a child care in their home or in a facility outside their home. The team welcomes those who would like to expand, as well.
