Come to Limestone, Maine to experience an extended July 4th celebration that's a true reflection of small-town charm. Whether you're local or a visitor, Limestone captures the essence of what makes small-town America shine: togetherness, celebration, and tradition wrapped in red white and blue.

The Limestone Chamber, Historical Society, Volunteer Fire Department, Rotary Club and friends of the Robert A. Frost Memorial Library bring it all together—a community collaboration. There's something for everyone to enjoy: food, music and fireworks, a parade and more!

The celebration starts on the evening of July 3rd at the corner of Access Highway and Main Street. The street is blocked off for a festive bash featuring food trucks, cold drinks, bounce houses, a photo booth and a cash-only “beer garden” before the fireworks display at dusk. Families bring lawn chairs, artists and vendors set up booths, and old friends gather for a hometown reunion.

  • POSTPONED: Fireworks on the Pond: Bring a lawn chair downtown to enjoy the fireworks display overlooking the pond. Watch for a new date.
