A Simle Parade, A Big Heart

Limestone's Light Parade for what it lacks in size, more than makes up for in heart. The town’s residents come together to decorate their public spaces with twinkling lights, setting the scene for an evening filled with warmth and joy.

The shining stars of the parade are the beloved spots like the gazebo at Rotary Park, where sparkling lights create a magical atmosphere, with a live tree next to the gazebo beautifully decorated for all to admire as well as Santa & Mrs. Claus in the gazebo enjoying the children as they stop to visit. As you stroll through the heart of Limestone, you’ll also notice the festive touch of ornaments hanging from light poles, adding a dash of holiday spirit to every corner of the town.

It’s a time for everyone—young and old—to come together and appreciate the simple beauty of the season, from the lights to a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus,  to the local snowmobile club serving hot chicken stew as a fundraiser after the parade at their clubhouse next to the community pond on Main Street.

The parade is a reflection of Limestone’s close-knit community, where everyone pitches in to make the event memorable, no matter how small the details might seem. Whether you’re standing on the corner with a cup of hot cocoa or chatting with a friend you haven’t seen in months, there’s a feeling of togetherness that fills the air.
